We came from Ohio today to a finished pool! :D Amy and I took a dip in it, while the dogs got used to it. I think Kiara will actually have fun once she gets used to it. Towards the end she was fetching her ball in it after I helped her get in.

I'm sure there will be plenty of pictures to come. It was very refreshing to come home and take a swim after driving a billion miles! :cool:

It does look very pretty. I can't wait to see Kiara playing in it. Simba looks so handsome but doesn't he always? I take it Nebo didn't like the pool? Duke doesn't like it, either.

Yup.. my boy always looks handsome. :p
Nebo doesn't hate the pool, he's just too chicken to get in. I think he's got to get used to it. He'll put his paws in on the stairs and bite at the water, he just won't jump in and swim.

Oh I didn't notice those last pics. Looks like a blast :) Zeke wouldn't go in the water either, he might put his paws in but he doesn't like it :rolleyes: Josie would be in HEAVEN...looks like Kiki loves it too :)

Did they heat the pool? I would imagine the new water would be pretty cold still...I know mine is! If it is that cool, then props to you for getting in! hehe
Ki is so cute!! And poor Nebo!! :( He didn't want to get all wet! lol I wish my kids would get in the pool...but NO WAY! We put Sahara in when she was little and boy was she POed at us! hehe

Great pictures!! The pool is beautiful. And it does look warm! I'm sitting here right now in a sweatshirt and 2 blankets.
My fav picture is the one of Simba by the pool! But of course you knew I would say that!! :)
You know, I always wondered about the screen thing too? I have never seen them anywhere but Florida...? Not even in Southern Cali? Good idea though. I think they would collapse under the SNOW in Syracuse! LOL!!

That is so cute. They are having so much fun. I have a pool but with cats it's another story. I dunk thier feet in but I don't dare put them in unless I want to be scratched from head to foot. LOL
I also worry that they couldn't get out on their own with the steep sides. We find dead mice and lizards in it. Yuck but just the hazzards of having a pool.
I like the idea of screen it in but here in Kansas the screen room would blow a mile away and it would be covered with cottonwood seeds. Our pool get the seeds in it and the filter gets clogged. Looks like snow somethimes until the seeds stop flying off the trees.
The skeeters come out at dusk and start biting. I hate that most.

It's 8am and Kiara has already been in the pool. She dropped her ball and it rolled in, so she jumped in and got it. :rolleyes:
As my parents were saying last night... We got a $2500 pool for our dog.
She's used it the most so far!

My poor underprivedged dogs have to make do with a kiddie pool in the summertime ;) But at least I can take them to a quarry, river or the beach occasionally :cool: Badger doesn't even like to get his feet wet but the others hardly have time to dry off, especially if I get in the water :D * oh Simba, swoooon *

The pool looks fantastic, Kay! You guys are so lucky. Gosh, I wish we had one. I guess I will just have to come down there and swim in yours! I love the pics of of the pups! Such great shots. That Kiara seems like she just loves it. I don't blame her. I'm pretty sure that neither of my pups would set a paw in it...lol.
Have lots of fun in your new pool! It looks wonderful!

BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I would LOVE to have a pool like that in my backyard. They did a great job on it. Is it covered? I love it........you must be SO happy! :D
