I've had quite a few requests for Blazer pics, so here they are!:D I actually took over 30, but I narrowed them down to something over 20, so I'll make two threads with the newest pics from two days ago!!:D *Also, I've tried more indoor shots, but the flash always glares off Blaze's eyes, and makes him look like a ghost!:rolleyes: I just can't STAND not being able to see his BEAUTIFUL brown eyes, lol!!*:D So here's the first batch!;)

please, please, think LONG and HARD about getting a Border Collie. Be prepared to walk the dog 2-5 times a day (not around the block, for miles!) and practically live at the nearest off-leash park, where you'll spend hours upon hours of your life throwing the ball again and again, because most backyards are not big enough for a BC to fully get his/her energy out. I swear, BC's are crazy and really aren't for most people. You should want a BC because you want a consant every day jogging partner, a dog sport competitor, or a working dog, not just for Katie and Blaze or because they're so insanely cute and cool :p,... oh, and if you must get a BC, definitely consider rescue, as Border Collies are one of the most common dogs abandoned at shelters (because of what I described above!)

I agree with bckrazy--BCs are QUITE the job and a big handful, and aren't just cute little doggies. They need lots of attention constantly, and always need to be busy or on the job. They are very rewarding though!!;)

bckrazy, Ditto what you said. Borders are wonderful dogs but they need so much work, but if you are willing to give the dog a job to do then that is great.

He really is spectacular-looking, along with being talented and obviously much loved! Are there other dogs nearby? I see lots of yard space with fences, just wondering if you get "company" (pups on the other side of the fence that wish they could join the fun!).

Yup, we have some neighboring dogs, and Blaze's buddy is the next door neighbor's BC--yup, another one! named Mickey! Here's a couple pics I posted a couple weeks ago of them through the fence, and another of Mickey too!;) Blaze's other best friend is Bandit, a black lab that lives a little ways away, but they LOVE playing together. Blaze also likes playing with Sam--yet another Border collie down the street, lol!:D:D:D I don't have any pics of those two however.......:)
