I got my heart pup March 27th 1983. She was a buff cocker, baby girl. Her parents were Brady's Chucky Baby (sire) and Brady's Bit of Honey (dam). Tonees AKC name was Antoinette Germaine, Tonee for short. She was born December 18th 1982.
She was a handfull in her early days. In to everything. Once she chewed the phone cord in half, while I was talking on the phone !! She chewed the most expensive pair of shoes that I will ever own in my life, unless I win the lotto, while I was in the shower. And I loved her more than anyone in the world.

she loved to swim in the pool. I was late for work many days as I had to rinse her and dry her hair.
I couldn't leave her home all wet.

Oh Katz.........she was beautiful!!! :) My "heart" dog, Kaycee, looked very much like your Tonee. I lost her in 1999. :(

I'm awash in tears Katz, as I scroll through your touching photo tribute to your beautiful girl, Tonee. How difficult these anniversaries are:( I don't think there was ever a more loved pup. This picture was my favorite.

Thanks everyone for taking time to look at my Tonee. She is still in our hearts. I think of her all the time, even after all these years. Some times at work if a guest drops a bit of food on the floor I'll tell them, "if my Tonee were here, she'd have that before it hit the floor". To this day all the dog towelsin our house are refured to as "Tonee towels". When ever we see a bike with a little cart behind it or a Mom running with one of those strollers you put your kids in we call it a "Tonee cart". We feed our girls 2 times a day, to most, breakfast and dinner, but here 'breakfast' and 'breakfast' because Tonee didn't know the word dinner., but she sure knew the word 'breakfast'. I could go on for ever remembering her and telling stories !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
