New York: Central Park alligator caught.

   The alligator that has been on the loose in Central Park has been caught.

Poor alligator. I hope he will be well taken care of wherever it is he ends up. I just don't understand the thinking of some people, taking in a baby alligator and then just releasing it into a park (albeit Central Park) because it grew too big to handle! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/mad.gif

That is a shame, people get exotic pets one way or another and then find they can't handle them and dump them. If only people would respect the animals and their lives and where their natural habitat is and leave them in peace.

What drives the mind to have a pet such as an alligator? Is it the "I have something up don't!" attitude? I hope he can be released into his natural habitat.
