I have a male aussie shepard (my son's)& mostly lab/aussie dog(my mom's)visting my four dogs for the summer. They are brother & sister about two years old and the two of them have started to escape from my fenced back yard. Jetty the sister is a digger. I think we have permanently stopped up where she has dug but now Punk Boy, the male, has started to jump the fence. Any suggestions? What about those invisible fence things. Pro or Con? I hate to have to chain up two and let my four run loose and tease them. Thanks.

Wow.. Jumping the fense... Are you talking about the electric fenses? Well i dont know if i would do that..But if there isnt anything else you can (like a new fense) then it is better then him getting out.

lbaker,
How tall is your fence and do you
own a lot of land where
raising the fence is not an option?
From what I understand the Invisible
fence in not full proof.
I count my blessing I have never
owned an escape artist yet others
in my family have.

Hello, Lbaker. When I first read your post, I thought you had to own a Husky. Mine will find a way out of anywhere!!! As far as jumping the fence, I know there is an anti-jump harness available. Here's a picture of it at PetSmart.
