Duke: Dog beach and visit with Simba

I've been wanting to go to the dog beach again for a long time. I had postponed it a week because there had been so much rain that I was afraid it would be flooded there. So, on Friday I went. Here's Duke's reaction when I was calling him "adorable doggie". That's how I got that in the sig.

We got to the beach and here's how foggy and overcast it was. This made for really cool weather and a peaceful beach. There were only a couple of other people there. We stayed about an hour and it was so peaceful.

I liked the look of this grass and sand. Kind of reminded me of snow a little.

I had called Kay's house and left a message for her mom. I hated to be over there and not contact her. I also stopped by the restaurant and got to see her there to let her know I was in the area. After the dog beach, I stopped and we chatted for a while. Simba and Duke played.

Nala's turn. I had thought she and Duke might be different without Kay there but that wasn't the case. We both held onto them and Duke growled so I guess it's just bad chemistry. Put Duke up and let Simba and Nala play for a bit.

It was hard to get pics of them playing because they were moving really fast. Kay's mom said I shoud be there when Kiara was there, too. I don't know how Kay gets good pics.

Great pictures. I really liked the ones of Duke on the bench, and the pictures of Nala were really good, too. How great to have a beach the dogs can play on. You won't find one of those up here :( .

We wish we could reach in the pictures and give all the doggies big kisses and hugs!! Love Duke's stunning bandana and what an adorable boy he is!! Simba and Nala are equally adorable!!! What beach do you go to? It's beautiful!! We live inland but we go to Daytona or New Smyrna Beach because they're closest(about 30 minutes).
