Hello, my favorite dog breed would have to be either the Australian shepherd or the Australian cattledog, since I have had both. I like the Beagle too, Doglover5678. I own 2 Beagles and Beagle mix with puppies.

my favourite dog breed is the Cavalier King Charles Spainiel. I also really like Shih Tzus :)

When I was a kid we had a Manchester Terrier. We sometimes call him a Doberman wannabe. We also teased him about his "eyebrows".

This is the only dog I've ever had, though. I had a neighbor who had a yellow lab, and some friends of mine had two yellow labs (rainbow bridge now, they were quite elderly) and they are fine dogs, as long as you don't mind the repetition of tossing soggy slobbery sticks endlessly!

As everybody knows Schnauzers, Mini, Giant, and Standard, I also love Cocker Spaniels,
Rottweilers, Bassets, I have come to love Poodles after seeing them on this site, and I could go on, and on, and on, really I love all dogs big, small and in between. I love strays, rescues and Purebreds. I am even beginning to like Cats after being here and seeing all the wonderful cats, I did have one at one time called "Baby".
I guess you can just call me an animal lover.

arn't they cuties?! :D i just love them. To be honest, i hadn't even heard of the breed until i got my job at a dog kennel. If i wasn't so busy with my horse, i would have brought a puppy home by now. :)

You should definitely do a "search" on favorite breeds! We've answered this question over and over. But I never tire of it! LOL!

My favorites are Golden Retrievers, of course! But my "dream dog" is an English Bulldog. One day.......

I've never answered this because I can't narrow it down to just one! I'll start by saying I love ALL DOGS! Every breed has its angels and its terrors! But, there are some breeds that are more near and dear to my heart, for a variety of reasons - I'll just list them, in no particular order:

- Greyhound
- Mutt
- Irish Wolfhound
- Cocker Spaniel
- Borzoi
- Azawakhs (and other rare sighthounds including Sloughi, Galgos Espagnol, Rampur Hounds and Chart Polski)
- German Shepherd Dogs
- Whippet
- West Highland White Terrier
- Weimeriner (sp?)

There, that's ten! :D

You asked, so I shall provide! These are all variations of the AKC-recognized greyhound that is common in the US. The Azawakh is an African greyhound, the Sloughi is a north african/arabian greyhound, the Chart Polski is a Polish greyhound, the Galgos is a Spanish greyhound, the Rampur Hound is an Indian greyhound. (Kind of how the Borzoi is sometimes referred to as the 'Russian wolfhound/greyhound). Most of these dogs have minor variations in appearance from the 'common' greyhound. They are rare breeds and probably cost alot of money, and would have to be shipped (possibly overseas)! I have never met any of them in reality, but I love the greyhound basic temperment, and I like seeing the little differences ! I've attached some links and an Azawakh pic (my husband thinks they look like a greyhound body with a beagle face???!!!)

thats one that always sticks out when i pass by, hes gentle and sweet and has beauty and grace. Hes a spin dog so has been there over 4 months. His name is Romeo.
