Leopard, dog spend night in bathroom
[India News] Shimla, March 18 : A day after they spent a night together in a bathroom without harming each other, a leopard ended up in a zoo and a dog was still petrified Friday.
Villagers called up wildlife officials and police when they heard the growling of a leopard in their bathroom in Mundhaghar village, some 20 km from here. When they opened the door, they were amazed to find the leopard and the dog together.
To the amazement of villagers, the dog was unharmed.
"By some miracle, the leopard hadn't harmed the dog even as they spent the night together in the small room," said police inspector S.S. Negi.
A medical examination of the leopard was carried out and it has been sent to a zoo in this state capital.
It is common for leopards to prowl near villages in the hill state in search of prey.
