Hey all.
The shelties and I were dog sitting a lovely wheaten named Shelby from March 9 until March 16. Shelby was the sweetest dog ever and I loved taking care of her. I hope her family goes away again soon.....LOL

Oops... forgot to ask y'all to please excuse the shelties ragged appearances. My dogs are kind of like the shoemakers children...LOL

Anyways.... on to the pictures.

Here the dogs are posing for a pic before I will let them run in the field.

Shelby running. She wasn't quite sure what to do about the crazy shelties running around at first.

But then she got it and took off to try and catch Clipse

She also enjoyed "roaring" at the shelties as they passed her. Here she is roaring in Emily's ear....

Emily gets Shelby back for roaring in her ear.... by barking in Shelby's....

Go Shelby go!

Emily sits on my foot while I'm crouching down taking pics of Clipse.

What do you do in an empty field? Why play games of chase of course.....

Shelby may be 12 years old but she can keep up to those shelties no problem.

The different looks of Shelby.....scruffy.....

That's all for now. If you'd like to see more pics then you can click on The Album (http://www.PictureTrail.com/gid6928873) or keep an eye out for my next thread where the shelties help me show you the strange weather patterns here.

Hope you enjoyed! :)

Very adorable pictures!

I've been having a bad weekend (my sweet Holly PTS yesterday due to end-stage cancer) and I just needed to come here and look at cute pictures, I really needed something to laugh about.

And that I did! They are cutie pies!

They're all so cute! :)

Looks like they had a fun run! Is that snow on the ground? Do they play in it?

You may not see a wheaten every day, but I do.....LOL They are VERY popular here, and added to that I work at a grooming shop so I see tons. :) It's funny seeing which breeds are popular in different areas.

Yep that's snow (or what's left of it) and no, mine don't really play in it. They mostly just eat it. LOL

Awesome pics, I especially like the one of Emily "getting back" at Shelby. Looks like a nice big place for them to run (all the better for chase games!). Your two look pretty quick, I may have to start a heightened training regimen for Tasha and Docker so they can keep up in July! Buddy, of course, has no interest!

On top of the new training regimen you may want to get your dogs used to wearing ear plugs, for in case you haven't noticed I don't think Emily's mouth is closed in one single pic.....:o LOL

I think the earplugs are a great idea (for me and the dogs), though I'm not that worried about Emily's barking; it's the karaoke that has me concerned! :D ;)

LOL Well if they somehow do manage to make me pick up a microphone you will definitely need them.....LOL

I've only done karaoke twice in my life and I guarantee it wasn't a pretty site...... :D
