Many dogs have gone absolutely head crazy and developed lifelong seizures, or an instant awareness to touches after ear cropping.

After ear cropping, dogs suffer from a phantom pain around the scars until the end of their life (!), what may cause serious behavioral problems.

Is this statement true???

I think I'll ask my vet for the facts of cropping when we go in for yearly shots and check up.

I've heard that before and some dogs can become head shy if the ear cropping is not done correctly but 99% of the dogs I've met with their ears cropped/tails docked act no differently than those with natural ears/tails. Winston and all the other dobies who are living with him absolutely LOVE to get their ears rubbed:)

Never heard of such a thing. Nor have I experienced such. My last Giant had cropped ears she was fine. I've also worked with many a cropped Dobie with no issues.
