I just saw on the news that they raided a local animal rescue because of them having too many animals. They also said that it was dirty and none of the pets had food and only some had water. I swear this is the rescue they said on the news http://www.petfinder.org/shelters/UT80.html but I can't find anything on the internet to confirm that.

I didn't catch what was going to happen to the animals..there were dogs, cats, as well as a few rabbits and birds. I'm sure it will be on the news again tonight. So sad. :(

**EDIT** I found a news article with more info http://www.4utah.com/local_news/local_headlines/story.aspx?content_id=63494C35-7647-496B-9E5E-94F32DEB6E4E

OMG! I can't believe that, do you mean the authorities went in and took out the animals?

That is sad...look at all the poor little innocent animals. :(

Wolf_Q thanks for posting the news story. This guy was clearly
in over his head. He didn't even have the permits required.I do
hope his intentions were good at least. I'm glad he was stopped
and the animals found in time.

I know people want to help..but honestly...do it legally. Get the permits.

Poor animals. :(

I hope he gets the permits next time he wants to help animals. Sometimes it is better if they take the animals because the people with good intentions don't have the means to help all the animals. Also this news story, believe it or not, is good publicity for the current animals. People will want to adopt the animals that were taken as they will be featured on the news. Sometimes I think about starting a rescue when I get out of college, but then I realize how much of a horder I will become and they will have to come take my animals, so its better that somebody keeps an eye out for rescues like this.
