The day I went to the hospital, Micah had his pre-surgical exam and his blood work done. I got the results after a few days while I was in my hospital bed. It was good news after the loss of Livvy.
His bloodwork came back WONDERFULLY!!! His levels are very good. I had her do a vaccine titer test and he wont have to be vaccinated until at least next year! (He's had reactions in the past and we believe they caused his IBD) The last time she ran his blood he had a lot of elevated levels.
The dental vet looked in his mouth and said there would only be one tooth removed for sure and that the ulceration from his stomatitis is GONE!!! That day, two vets realized how AMAZING the raw diet is. Susie has been Mishy's vet for almost the time we've had him and she was blown away!!
I HIGHLY recommend that diet to any kitty with any health concerns. He's doing soooo well with his IBD and his mouth...its amazing.
So, Micah will go in in about a week or two (the dental vet works only certain days) for xrays, a dental cleaning and any extractions needed.
YAY!!!!
