I have a plastic one...........LOL.

We can't afford a swimming pool. We don't even have our own house. But the house we are moving in to in July has a jacuzzi. I'd much rather have a pool though. Maybe one day.

We just bought a townhouse so even if I wanted one, there's no room for it. As for the future... I know it would get a lot of usage (weather permitting) but there are two things that scare me - having one with small children around and the time/maintenance/money it takes to have one. So I don't know if we ever will have one, but they sure are nice!

We have a huge above ground round one that's been sitting in the shed for two years now. Any one want to have a pool building party?:D

We have one. It's a small octaganol inground pool that was here when we bought the house 11 years ago. We had a new liner put in 3 years ago. Like I said it's small, 24 foot across, but it works for us. Any bigger would be too hard and expensive for us to keep.

Here are a few pictures. This was in 2003, I can tell by the flowers.

This was our 4th of July party last year. That is my sister sitting on the side and her kids and their spouse and a girlfriend.

Nope, and our township forbids them. Even above ground pools. Anything bigger than a wading pool is illegal here. They want people to join the town's pool. :(

No pool here, but there is one at my work. There is never a lot of people there and it's close by my house.

Well no wonder! It's covered with ice a lot of the time :p We've got one. Here it is.

This is at the deep end. I like letting the water run over my head.
Catnapper: I can't believe pools are outlawed! I would have to move. Those public pools can't be that sanitary, if you know what I mean.

We have a pool. We've had one since before I was born :) It's covered up and any water in it right now is a big block of ice!

Nope.

The old apartment complex I lived at had a pool but I never used it. The current one has a natural creek that I wade in. :D

We used to have a small above ground pool, but it was really old and rusty and busted open during one night.

We had one built in our house 8 years ago when we first had our home built...I will take a photo tonight and post. In fact we went in it yesterday for the first time this year.

Nope, no pool here, no point in having a pool in Wisconsin- it would get used maybe 20 times during the "summer".

I wish we did have a pool though....:p

I am so green, if I won the lottery I would buy a small house with an inside pool.

I so love swimming but we only have public pools in England. :( Maybe one day I'll have a pool, if I am very very lucky.

I have an above ground pool at our house! :) But its connected to the deck, so it looks nicer then just a regular one sitting out in the middle of a yard:p

Lexi stands on the first step, and won't go any further:rolleyes:

Our neighbors have a pretty nice in-ground one, though. My sister is friends with them and swims in it a lot durring the summer.

This thread made me remember that someone on here once said that all Californians have pools.. it's not true! :p

We don't have a pool but our backyard is big enough to have one put in if we'd like one. We're hoping to move sometime soon, though, so we don't really see the point in having one 'installed'. We'd like our next house to have a pool, but honestly, I doubt I'd use it. Daisy sure would love it, though!

My park has a pool but even if we could afford it, there wouldn't be any room for one of our own. We hardly go swimming anyway.

Here's a pic from this morning....you can see the sun coming up...it was a very windy day in california yesterday so the pool is a mess....it will take the vacuum a few days to catch up...

yes, we have a pool. I don't really like it... it's big and it's usually cold because we have big trees in our backyard. My dad also had to get an ugly fence to put around it because my little brother almost drowned. We also have a jacuzzi, which I like :) I might post pics after I get home today...

Nope no pool here, but I would love one and a spa pool, mainly for therapy reasons, I just have to make do with a paddle pool on hot days, works for me.

In NZ anything that is 16 inches in height or over has to be fenced, it is a legal requirement.

A pool used to be seen as an asset when buying a home, but nowadays it can be the opposite, as people don't want the upkeep involved and prefer to buy homes without, but that could change.

If luck befalls me and I win lotto, an indoor pool and spa are on my list for sure, hopefully saltwater too, or outdoor solar heated pool, dreams are free.:)

nope we don't have a pool. My parents have one that we can use whenever we want, I rarely use it though. I would swim all day, every day when I was a kid, but I haven't been in the pool in a couple years now, I just don't care to. I like swimming in the lake when we go out in my father-in-law's boat.

:D Yep, we're hillbillies and I don't care who knows it:p

We have a little above ground cheapie from KMart. I think it's 3 1/2 ft deep or something like that. Hey....it works when it's 90 degrees out!

But the dogs just love it, they use it to play chase around:D
