I don't think Barney likes it here. :D Talk about the life of Riley.

How dare you keep a dog so unhappy and uncomfortable!!

Hehehehe.. How precious. I think i'd have to crawl right up with him. So, is Barney a foster or for keeps? What does Penny think of him?

Barney is a foster - but if his shoulder issue is bone cancer (which is usually a life threatening issue) he will stay here until he goes to the Rainbow Bridge. If not - I have someone who wants to adopt him. We have to determine whether or not he is "adoptable". If it means surgery, we will take care of that before adoption. If it is treatable with supplements, we have to be honest with the people who adopt him.

In the meantime - he is happy here (as opposed to a shelter, where he would probably be PTS due to his age and his lameness).

Penny is not pleased, but she is dealing. I just try to make her understand that she is still my baby and nothing will change that. :)

That's so sweet. Give them both some special lovin' from me. It would be hard to take care of one, knowing they might die soon.

Awwww what a life huh? I sure hope it's not cancer or if it is that it can be treated. What a sweetheart. :)

Barney is 7-8 years young. He is such a sweetie - the easiest foster dog I have ever had. He was already house trained, knows basis commands, and spends most of his time lounging around. Loves to give kisses and is happiest just being with you. Although he is older, he will definitely make a great family pet for someone.
