I've been in Ohio in summer and it's NO WHERE close to being as miserably hot as it is in FL. :P

I'd rather have your season than FL Seasons.
We only have three... the Three H's.

Hot, Hotter, and Hurricanes.

Oh, and i'm beginning to think road construction is just a part of our landscaping. The little purple, orange, and various other colored flags they put up - we call them flowers.

Kay I lived in Florida, I know it's too hot there for me! That's why I'm back here! :p I'm just at the stage where, although I love winter, it's enough already! :D

I remember Ohio's "season's"

Here in central Japan the seasons are:
mid Nov-Feb: chilly
Mar: cool and refreshing
April-May: slightly miserable
June-July: miserable regardless of access to A/C
Aug-Sep: don't bother trying to move, it's too muggy, inside or out
Oct-early November: slightly less miserable

I'd take Florida or Coastal Mississippi's heat any day!! I've been to Biloxi in the dead of summer, it was a cake walk compared to the heat here:eek:  :D

In Texas we have:
Spring (lasts about 1 week)
Summer
So hot you can't breathe
So hot you get sick just looking outside
Winter (usually lasts the month of January)

That's funny!:D True too...

But, I would not want the Texas heat and tornados again either!! (from West Texas here!!) The heat here is very bearable to me:) I think it is what your body gets used to because I remember in Texas - we'd get a light dusting of snow and the towns would close down. Here, nobody notices until you can get your door open because of the snow or the cars don't move because the pows have not been by yet:rolleyes: I love snow though - so long as I can look at it from inside.

In the San Francisco Bay Area it's usually just plain nice, except for all the rain we've been having this past winter. Last week we had three days of warm, followed by our natural air conditioning (fog). Today it's BEAUTIFUL spring-like sunshine and warm-ish.

I do not live in Minnesota, but I have friends there. It gets pretty hot and humid in the normal summer months. They have the extremes on both ends - HOT and MUGGY in the summer, and BELOW FREEZING in the winter. I'd love to live there.. and just visit Canada for the summer. :p

In Kentucky, I don't know. It varies from year to year. We have winter about a thousand times due to the weather change, always followed up by a pothole season. :p
