Gun salesman's near fatal memory lapse
A Russian gun shop owner who pretended to shoot himself in the head ended up in hospital after he forgot it was loaded.
The deputy manager of the shop in Novosibirsk, who was not named, was demonstrating the gun's trigger action.
He was reportedly joking around with a customer when he aimed the Strazhnik 461 gun at his own head and pulled the trigger.
But he had forgotten the gun was loaded and was taken to hospital with head injuries, Interfax reported.
He escaped instant death only because the gun was loaded with rubber bullets but he was seriously injured and is in hospital.
