hey again, Cat side! :D we've been searching for the perfect kitty, and we have narrowed it down to 2 females at the SPCA, a DMH tortie and a DSH tabby/white... we're going back on Saturday, to pick up one of the two (or maybe both, who knows). We've been picking up all of the essentials for the new kitty, and since my moms B-day is on the 17th I decided to get her a nice little cat tree. Of course this is completely impossible for me!! I have two in mind that we both really like... but I have no idea about these things. I don't want to spend more than about $70, so my choices are kinda limited. I would SO appreciate any help/input on these trees, which you guys like the best..

Ladder/nest at Petsmart (http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=84552444177 9216&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302033672&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023690&bmUID=1110239569562)

Perches, hammock and tunnel (http://www.oscardoodles.com/proddetail?prodid=938200) (I noticed this one has fuzzy carpet... but its so cute!)

Also, keep in mind that my Mom will probably be fostering kittens for our SPCA in a few months... so this might be used for multiple cats. We'll probably (definitely) get another tree by then, though!

Thanks! I ordered the second tree today :) hopefully the new kitty likes it!

the SPCA finally put her up on their website.. here she is! (http://sspca.org/CatProfile.html?qryCatID=1567) I love her SO much, she is the sweetest cat.. she just layed on my lap on rolled over for tummy rubs the whole time we visited with her. I hope she's still there by Saturday! ^_^ isn't she the cutest?

I'm sure that the new cat will love the cat tree.:) Some time in the future you might also want to go to a cat show because you can get some very nice cat trees and condos for great prices.

Sugar Plum sure is gorgeous and I bet she has the sweetest personality to match. Good luck and please keep up updated.:D

thanks! I would love to go to a cat show! ;) I'll definitely keep an eye out for any in Sacramento.

She is sooo sweet, one of the sweetest kitties I've met for sure! My mom wanted a long-haired orange or calico... but we all knew that she'd just fall for the sweetest cat there :) I can't wait
