Add me to the list of new betta owners! I've been wanting a Betta for the longest time, but for some reason I've never gotten around to actually getting one. Today I was at PetSmart and kept eyeing them but still came home without one. I was talking to Alexa and told her that I'd really been thinking about getting a betta, so 20 minutes later we were on our way to PetSmart and we picked up Yuki! He was very lively, so I chose him. When I got him home I was surprised to see his colors! Since he was in the treated water at the petstore he looked solid blue to me. It was a nice surprise to see he was much more colorful than I had expected. I finally did a little cleaning and cleared up a spot for him on my computer table. He seems very happy in his new tank. Wow! :eek: He's pretty!

It was kinda like that with Rilo too. He looked paleish blue and pink and turned to be green when he got home.

OHHhh, he is so pretty. I love his coloring! I want one like that ;) I know what you mean about the coloring. When I got my new little guy I thought he was blue in the store. At home he looks more green.

I love you new guy. Thanks for sharing Yuki with us.

Laura, he's so handsome! Hee hee hee, I love how his dorsal fin looks curly in the first pic. :D

How do you pronouce Yuki? Is it You-kee? Or You-Ky? (like sky)

You-kee. He's named after a character from an anime that I watch called Fruits Basket.
