View Full Version : A new barn addition! :D

Today, at Country's boarding barn, we got a new addition! He is going to be used as a lesson horse. I will tell you a bit about him that I found out tonight:

Zack(going to chage) is a bay Thoroughbred gelding. He is 17hh!
:eek: Huge boy! Yet a gentle giant. They are giving him time to settle in, but he will be used for lessons, like I said, and jumps up to 2'9", but they are hoping to make him go higher! Me too! When I got there, I noticed a HUGE horse I had never seen before. And there, was Country, beside him. They put him next to her stall and foind out that they liked each other, and it was Country's time to be put out to pasture anyways.

I asked them who he was and they told me all about him. He is so friendly and after they rode him, they asked if I wanted to, well of course I said YES! I seriousley felt like I was going to fall off:p

Here are 2 pictures of him from fall and summer of 2004, I think! I asked if they had any photos and they put 2 on disc for me from their computer! He is such a gentleman!

Wow! He's handsome! sorry no name suggestions, it's great that Country gets along with him:D

Wow, 17 hands high, that is the measurement of a draft horse- that's one big TB. He has such a round barrel, he resembles a QH lol. I like the name Zack, don't have any name ideas.

lol, you should have seen this Tenessee Walking Horse/ Fresian X we had at our barn.... he was 18.1 hh ! :eek:

My mom used to have a pure Tenessee Walking Horse named "I Love Rock 'n Roll", or "Rocky" for short. (miss him mucho!) We unfortunately had to sell him because my mom didn't have much time to ride him, but he went to a very nice home. Here is a picture of him.

Hes beautiful!!! I was going to purchase a black Tennessee Walking Horse named Buddy, but I found Country instead! :D

thanks! :) He was such a handsome boy... We would visit him if he wasn't so far away. :(

How handsome! New horses are always exiting! We have a horse at the barn who I think had to be about 18 hh named Chopin.;)
