I was checking on my little fur family. Okay, so my eyes aren't that good. I'm old, whatya want?????? :p

I picked up the runt of the litter. Guess what??? She (I think) has 7, count 'em SEVEN toes on each front paw!!! :eek: :eek:

I couldn't believe my eyes, so I counted them again, like 3 times!! It's true! She's got 7 toes on each front paw!!!

Holy moly!! Anyone ever hear of that before. It's not a double dew claw either. There is a toe for each claw!!!

If it's a boy, I'm gonna name him Big Foot.

That is a true double-pawed kitten! That innermost toe on the small paw bears watching. The Mahopac Monsters, orange kittens from 3 years ago, had the double paws, and I told the new families to keep an eye on that one so the claw wouldn't dig in.

Maybe she was holding on for dear life! She probably didn't want to leave that nice, warm, safe place!

I had the same idea that someone else posted - boy or girl - sasquatch, 'sassy' for short!

But I like 'Thumbelina', too!

they DO look like little hands, and apparently can be used like thumbs, too! I LOVE Samson's blue nail job! Cute!

(BTW, if you paint them, don't they have trouble retracting them? Sorry if it seems like a dumb question, I've only been a cat owner for a month or so.

laura That's not paint, it's SoftPaws to protect the kitties from scratching surfaces. The humane thing to do instead of declawing.
