Took the kids to the vet ysterday morning for thier nail trimming and mentioned to the tech there that Merlin has been occasionally yelping when he moves a certain way or gets up too fast and limps abit on his back leg... She said to keep an eye on it and if it gets worse,, to have the Dr look at it,, it might be that during one of his puppy tears in the house,, he might or could damage his ligiments in his knees... Last night he yelped 2 times when he got up from sleeping and moved too fast,,,, I hope it gets better on its own!!!!! will give it a few mor days andthen call the vet....... Keep Mer-Mer in mind please.....

Poor Merlin :( Oh Lorraine, don't let him run around and please don't wait too long to take him to the vet! Look what happened to my Lacey! I pray you and Merlin don't have to go through that! I will keep Merlin in my thoughts and prayers that his leg is going to be okay. :)

Poor Merlin. It sounds like what Duke had before he was diagnosed with a little hip displaysia. I don't think I'd wait on treating him, though, as it must be painful. However, Duke was about 7 or 8 when that happened. I guess I have mixed opinions on it. Anyway, give him a hug from me.

Hey Lorraine, Face had a similar problem a year ago we took him to the vet, his xray showed mild hip dysplasia and also a torn knee ligament, which they said would heal on its own and it did, however now and then he still limps from his hip dysplasia, i hope they find out soon what is wrong, let me know :(
