We picked her up on Monday, and it was a very difficult choice - the breeder had three adult dogs to show us - a 5 yr old Chesapeke named Mojo, and 2, almost two yr old golden girls, Fizz and Grace. They were ALL wonderful, sweet dogs, and I could see each of them fitting in with our family - However, goldens are more 'outgoing' and friendly with strangers than the Chessies, and with the way we like to go camping and take our dog with us all the time, we decided a golden would fit us better. It was a real hard choice between Grace and Fizz - but Jon liked Fizz a little more, so she came home with us.
She's a real love and is adjusting very nicely to our home already. She is learning to use the doggie door, give Teal'c the kitty a wide space, and has decided that Jon's waterbed is the most comfy napping spot, esp when the sun hits his bedroom window! ( for some reason, she doesn't like my bed, though - maybe it's too high or something.)
Fizz was delighted with Tristan's huge collection of toys, and has had fun showing each 'prize' to us before stowing it away in her crate - she has quite a colorful 'nest" in there!
she is SO GOOD - and so very soft - all over - she's a delight to snuggle with! and she loves to snuggle!
