I'm so excited. I've had PSP 7 for close to a year and I'm just now learning how to work with layers.

Here's a my first two siggies with layers.

I have such a mental block when it comes to learning computer things so this is monumental for me!!!! I owe all to my hubby who found me some good tutorials online.:)

Both of those are fabulous! You are doing great work for those to be first timers;) I wish I could be creative, but I was born without that gene:rolleyes:

They look great, Laurie!

Can you post those tutorial sites here please? This is something I haven't had time for yet, but I do want to learn how to do it. Thanks.

Love that Clubber. :D

I would also like the tutorial sites Lori! I ahve been playing with my PSP 7 also. I don't understand layers at all. I made a blinkie and a few siggys too. (like this one!!) I want to learn how to make the shadows - and fancy 3-D fonts with beveling, and sparkles:D

Richard found this one for me. It has "lessons" for you to practice with. If you look on the far left column you will see Learning Center. Click on that and you will find all the lessons.
pspug (http://www.pspug.org/)

I found this site through a link on the the previous site. It has lessons also - which is the only way I can learn, hands on. This page is for PSP 7 but you can find any version of PSP on here because it's Jasc's website.
PSP archive (http://www.jasc.com/support/learn/tutorials/archive/paintshoppro/Projects2.asp?pg=1)

This is the particular less I did yesterday to get me started to make my two siggies above. It's on the site above and teaches you to combine pictures. It's the only lesson I have done so far.

Hope this helps everyone, it did me.:)

I wonder, do they have online tutorials for how to work the washing machine? Maybe I should find one and email the link to him at work along with a tutorial on how to lower the toliet seat.:D

Me too, I have them saved.. I have had PSP8 for about 6 months and couldn't figure out how to do ANYTHING other than to enhance pictures and add text...

Your siggys are GREAT!!

Your signatures are great I learned awhile ago how to add images and just the other day I learned how to make avatars and blinkies:D

I looked at that combining pics link. I never knew that. I just put on layer over another and erase what's not needed. This looks like a lot less work if my mind can just absorb it.
