Has anyone seen the commercial for the new Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom episode? It's about a lioness adopting an orphaned gazelle! It has got to be the sweetest thing I've ever seen, I started to cry on the commercial, I can't wait to watch it. I think it comes on March 6.

March 6 - Heart of a Lioness
Explore a modern day miracle in northern Kenya when a lioness named Kamunyak adopts a baby oryx antelope and mothers the calf with infinite tenderness for 16 days. Forgoing her most basic needs to hunt, she is seen as both a tender caregiver and fierce protector.

Drawing on her expert knowledge of lions, Saba Douglas-Hamilton, a Kenyan naturalist, unearths clues explaining Kamunyak’s incredible behavior and tries to unravel the mystery beyond this natural wonder.

I can't wait to see that! I hope it won't be sad. I've been wanting to see it ever since I saw that commercial about a week ago.

Wow. i thought it was going to be some kind of animated thing because it sounds too good to be true!

I saw it as well...and though I knew how it would end, I didn't quite expect what happened after the taping! I'm not spoiling it for anyone yet to see it. :o

*SOOO* sad! :( I cried. Overall I thought it was amazing how the lioness adopted the baby Oryx- simply amazing and adorable.
