I've been working with PSP8.1 and trying to make sigs. I think Im finally getting better! :p Here are some of the things I made. :)
P.S. If anyone wants one, I have the whole week off... so feel free to ask for one! :)

Those are so cute! You are getting very, very good at making sigs! :D I would ask for one, except I already have Amber making me a set.... I also love the last sig! :D

alright take your time :). Why do you have the whole week off? We have today and tomorrow. Today because it's president's day and tomorrow because the teachers have a workshop(I have a dentist cleaning tomorrow:rolleyes: ) I wish we had the whole week off, you lucky duck and whoever else has the whole week off :p

Did you download PSP8 recently, or have you had it for a while? I'm so used to PSP8, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet... it's driving me nuts!

I've gone to www.jasc.com many times, but the only version I can seem to download is PSP9. I'd prefer PSP8 or PSP7 because I know them better. :)

We just had a week off...so school today! :( My brother gets this week off. (He's in university)

This is our February break too...I think its like an American "spring break" or something.

Its not our spring break... because we have a spring break in... April I think... for Easter. :p

I have a signature that looks good already, but what I really need is help with the avatar because I would like to have a picture of me, or my husband and me, or a blinking one with my husband and me and our 4 cats' faces, but I don't know how to do those. As you can see, the one I have is very tiny - how do you get it down to 60x60 pixels as required by the site, and still be able to make out the picture?

What would you need to be able to make the blinking avatar (Windows XP has MovieMaker - does that work)? I have links to each of my cats' imagestation albums in my signature area - there are a ton of pics of each of them there. Just let me know.

Jayna, I am not much of an "explainer," but I will try to help. I think I understand what you are asking... you want an avatar with both you and your husband, but you want it to be larger? I could do that if you gave me the original picture... I would have to seperate you faces though, so for example, it might say,

Frame 1-Jayna...Frame2-Picture of you...Frame3- John... Frame4...picture of your husband.
(Obviously I dont know either of your names. :p)

As for the blinking avatar... I could make that too, but using only one picture. I dont think you can use Windows MovieMaker for avartars. You can download Animation Shop for free off of www.jasc.com though. That is what I use. If you would like any furthur help as to how to make a blinkie... I could give you a liink to a tutorial. :) I did not really understand if you wanted me to make you one, or teach you how. :)

I really liked the avatars you made, Carly. :) Thank you very much. Also, thanks for the link to the tutorial. Does that also discuss how to make the ones like that second one, where you had my face flash, then Brent's, and back and forth? That was neat.

Thanks for the compliment on that first picture - that was one taken when I did a photo shoot for comp cards - I have an agent, but I haven't had many modeling gigs at this time. It's partly b/c my agent is in New Orleans (we used to live in Baton Rouge, LA until 6/30/04), and I am in St. Louis, MO - I think they don't have enough contacts for around here. It's frustrating. That photo shoot was fun though - the photographer was great - we did it in the Garden District of New Orleans on a hot day late in July 2003. At the end, to use up film, he took some great pics of Brent and me, and sent us a great 5x7 with all the proofs, etc. I think that is an awesome picture of us, even though Brent wishes he had been dressed a little better (how was he to know that he'd be in some pictures too?).

Carly - I was anxious to try the avatars you made out b/c they're so cute, but when I tried to Edit my Options in my User CP, when I tried each one, it told me that they were all too large - they need to be 60x60 pixels, and I think all of them were just over that - one was 66x66 and another was 56x71 or something like that. Could you help me fix those, or give me pointers on how to make them smaller without losing their viewability? I appreciate it. :)

Oh darn. I hate when that happens! :p I dont know how to resize them or anything... does anyone else know how to make it less pixels?

As for making regular avatars... I cant find any good tutorials... but if you download a free trial of animation shop... just play around with the transitions tools. I go to effects, then insert image transition,and just choose one. :) Im sorry I cant resize the pixels for you. :(

P.S. I think its awesome that you are a model! I have wanted to be a model my whole life, and still want to be. :p Shh! Dont tell! ;)

You can, if you just click animation, and then you click resize animation and then in the first section there are 2 things of numbers, resize them until at least one(they will go down at the same time) is below 60:), try that, if it doesnt work, I'll try! I'll try it now actually, which one did you want to use Jayna?
