State Fair Pics(horses and dogs)

I went to the state fair yesterday and was there for quite a while. I got to see both people from my barn compete. One woman won first place. She got points, a plack and a ribbon. Here's a cute Boxer that there in the bleachers with the owner.

This is an Ossabow Island donkey named Half Pint. Isn't she adorable? She was 6 months old. Don't know if she was a miniature or not but she wasn't big right now.

There was even a horse named Duke. I asked the representative about the sign but they are used more than once. I would have loved to have had it but I can alway just get it printed out.

I really like the pictures of the dogs, I love the dalmation though, its very pretty.

The view from the sky ride reminded me of the Calgary Stampede Grounds ..it would look identical if you added some snow, and took away all of the beauitful green trees :p

Here's the dog that was sleeping earlier. She loved to play fetch. Would bring that ball back and drop it at your feet. I wanted to take her home for sure.

Great pics! I loved the dog ones especially. :D That aussie is really gorgeous! I wonder if she's deaf, usually aussies that are mostly white with blue eyes are. That keychain/tag you got for Duke is really neat!

Lute: The Clydesdales are so beautiful! I would love to be able to take care of them.
Amy: I don't think she was deaf. She seemed to respond to my voice alright. She was so sweet.
I had a great time hanging around all the riders. Makes me want to start riding again but I've let myself get so out of shape. I need to get motivated somehow.

WOW! I can't believe how much fun that looks! Oh...it just looks So cool! I've seen Clydesdale horses before when we went on a tour of the Budweiser place in St. Louis. :D They're really neat. The tag you bough it very cute.

What a fun collection of pictures! I don't think I've ever been to a state fair...well, not a very big one at least. Like others have said, these pictures made me feel like I was there with you! Loved all the great photos of beautiful horses and beautiful dogs!

I have to say...Half Pint STOLE MY HEART!!! What a little cutie he is all decked out in flower leis! :D
