The CFA had a one day cat show today in Dayton! I went along with hubby, son, Misha and Carol (Persianmom)

Naturally I took some pictures - this time of my three favorites! These breeders were very friendly and let me take the pictures for you guys.
First - Carol bought a new Persian kitten:eek: Sorry no picture of this one but it was a six month old black male - Carol will pick him up Monday night. The breeder was Choc-O-Lotta from here in Dayton. This breeder also had one of my favorites - this is a Color Point Exotic - it looks like a short haired Himmy - gorgeous and so sweet. This baby, "Sonny" licks Meowmie's nose:D I got to hold it also and here ya go:

Hard to tell here but the eyes are a vivid blue.

This next one I just loved!! I kept going back and back to look at her!! She is an American Curl - this is my first time to see this breed - look how her ears curl gently backwards!! Her name is "Tuppence". Dream Curls Cattery (http://geocities.com/am_curls)

Well you KNOW I had to check out the Maine Coons:D The breed abounded - mostly the typical coloring like Phoenix but there was even one that was pure white.
But, look at THIS one!! His name is Hopscotch and he comes from Rallicats Cattery in Akron, OH.

I am so glad they let you take pictures... The ONE and only cat show I ever went to, no cameras were allowed and they wouldn't let you touch them...

Beautiful babies you got pic's of.. Thanks for poasting!

Not a single Sphynx in the whole show Donna! I checked and asked, too. They must be pretty unusual because the last show only had ONE:rolleyes:
It seems like there are mostly Maine Coons & Persians, followed next by Siamese, Burmese and a few exotics. There were also a number of Rexes - Devon, Cornish....
but no Sphynx!!! A travesty indeed I agree:D

GORGEOUS GORGEOUS kitties Debbie!!!

And ya know - it IS Febuary in OHIO maybe that is why Sphynx are hard to find at the cat show! ;)

I love exotics! Can't wait to see Carol's new baby! I am glad you had such a good time. I love to go to cat shows, but it is also like torture for me because of not being able to touch all the adorable cats and hold them. My groomer breeds and show American Shorthair, so whenever he is at a show at least I get to hold his! Also, last year I went to a cat show and there was a Sphynx breeder there showing his cats and I got to hold one! I was so excited because I have always wanted one! One day I will get one.
Christa,

Where exactly is Ashland? I live in louisville and there is a few cats show a year around here. If it isn't too far, you should drive up for one.

Here is one in May
