I realize this is not animal related but sorta, as if I don't get it fixed my dog won't get to sleep!!!!
Can anyone help me? My CD player on the computer after about 15-30 sec. keeps jumping to a different song. The CD softwear works fine though. Any ideas?? Its less than 2 yrs. old and we really don't use the CD player all that much. I know zip about computers and my husband knows even less (don't tell him that). :confused:

Have you tried a different CD? If it works fine with a different CD there is just a scratch or dirt on the CD.

Yup, I have tried 3 different CD's!

Did you try blowing a few times into the CD player? The dirt may be on the lens.

Sammi, can't help you with that one, less I could mail my Grandson to you. LOL He is my fixer upper on the computer.

Thelma, You mean "lens" like glasses? I don't know if I got enough air to huff and puff to get enough in to make a difference...... But I will give it a try. :eek:

Sammi - I had this problem on my CD player and the stepson went to Best Buy or the like and bought a cleaning disk. Ran that through (?) and it cleaned the eye or lens or whatever and now it works perfectly.
