It is a very, very sad day for me. This is the first birthday since Sami died last year. I thought I was good and going to be able to get thru this day (had my big cry last night), then I got a voice mail from my mom saying that she was thinking of me today, all the while she was crying. Now I'm just a mess.

Happy 13th Birthday my dearest Sami. I hope you get cake across the RB just like I always made for you!!

Thank you for your kindness. It is good to know that others understand how you feel. I will post some photos of Sami next week on the anniversary of her passing.

I know how you feel. My RB Angie would have been 11 on the 9th of February. Hugs to you.

What a hard time for a dog that you had so long in your family.
I'm sorry you had such a cry, but I totally understand.
I'll be thinking of you.

BIG HUGS! We do know how very difficult these anniversaries are and my heart goes out to you:( I still cry, 6 years later, for my heartdog Jingles. I sounds like you lost your baby just shortly after her birthday, which is especially hard:( But you know, I have no doubts that Sami was treated to one very special birthday bash, there at the Rainbow Bridge with all of our beloved furangels:) And I know that Sami was looking down on you too, sending you all her love. She knows that one day, in the distant future, you and she will share a very joyful, happy reunion and I hope that gives you some comfort. I look forward to seeing pictures of your beautiful Sami:) Much love to you friend, Sandra
