I am new to this forum - I am the mom of four cats - I've been admiring your cute signatures with your pets' pics in them, and I want to make one. I have plenty of pics to choose from if someone could please help me figure out how to do it.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Ok... what kind of programs to you have to work with pictures?? You need one you can cut out in, add mulitple inserts, backgrounds ect... Which do you have... This is the one I use...

Here is one I made with Paint Shop Pro - it is also in Cat General. Maybe you can use it awhile until you start making your own or have some other folks make you one. There are some TERRIFIC siggy artists here:)

Oh and to use it, you load it to your image file and then copy the image code like you did your pictures and enter it under User CP and edit profile. It looks like you know where that is because you already have a quote:D

that is a great signature by sirrahbed :)
if you want to try to do it yourself one day there is a free software called GIMP as suggested by dukedogsmom on this thread:

I downloaded the software and used it to make my avatar.

Thanks for the great signature, Sirrahbed, and thanks to everybody else for tips on how to do this. I will use this one for now, as soon as I get it loaded into my User CP - do I need to put it on my imagestation album so that I can use that link to post it in my UserCP, like I did with the photos I posted in here?

Thanks again!

Yep, you'll need to upload it somewhere to get the link, then put it in User CP.

Great job, Debbie!!!
