Well as some of you may know, I haven't been feeling myself the past few months do to my constant abdominal pain which I posted about a back, here (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=70157&highlight=Thoughts).

I went and saw my doctor on Tuesday and he said that my Ultrasound results came back normal. But he's now planning to do more tests on me, and possibly making an appointment for me to see a specialist as I'm still getting the pain, and worse. I explained some of the symptoms to my doctor that I have been having lately and he thinks there is a good chance I have diabetes... He's getting me tested for it asap. He said he's quite surprised I haven't been tested for it in the past.

Anyways just thought I'd let you all know. I'm quite nervous. I apologize to those of you who have sent me PM's/e-mails, as I haven't replied to them yet. I've just been so busy and been feeling so blah. I hope to get back to all of you soon.

Thanks for listening and for all the support. :)

Have they been having you write down everything you eat, every day, just in case?

Amanda...mega prayers on the way sweetie. I hope it's not diabetes, but if it is, please remember that it's manageable and you can still live a long and happy life.

Big hugs to you and I hope you'll keep us updated.

Amanda, I hope that your doctor will be able to find out what's causing your pain and that it's nothing serious. I sure hope that you'll begin to feel better soon. Prayers and positive thoughts are being sent your way. Please take care.

I really hope they find out defintely what it is... and that it's not diabetes. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers! {{{HUGS}}} to you!

I suggest what Karen asked - write down everything you eat, in case they find out something. :)

This sounds like something I had a few months ago. Is it like a stomach pain or like intense menstrual cramps? Mine where like intense menstrual cramps but I wasn't having my period. I had an ultrasound and they found I have cysts in my uterus. I'm on birth control pills now and all the pain has stopped. BCP are good for a lot of other things besides birth control :) Since you had an ultra sound and they didn't find cysts, then I guess it's something else. The symptoms seemed so similar though.

Prayers and hugs are on the way! :)

Thanks again everyone. :)

Karen, no they haven't had me record what I've been eating. I think its a good idea I do that though, so I'll start asap.

aly, if it turns out I do have diabetes expect a PM from me. I'll probably have a lot of questions. Thanks. :)

My Peanuts, yes, the cramps are very much like intense menstrual cramps and my doctor though it could be a cyst but nothing showed up on the ultrasound so it must be something else.
