Hey ya'll!!
I have an oral communication speech and it has be about an biography on a person who has made a difference in our world. It has to be a famous person. I was wondering if anyone would help me out who I could do that would be interesting and not to hard to look up information about.
I would like to do someone who has something to do with animals, but I can't think of anybody. but anybody will work.
This girl is doing Oprah in my class. I would love to have chosen her first, but only one person can do one person.
Thanks for the help.

Oh, so many!
How about Harriet Tubman? (Underground Railroad)
Or Clara Barton? (Founded American Red Cross)
Or Temple Grandin (Autistic woman who has done amazing work with animals)

Laura Bush
Jacqueline Kennedy
Eleanor Roosevelt
Helen Keller
Princess Diana
Betty White is a big animal advocate. I believe she's made a difference in all that she's done for animals.

My daughter did one on Oprah last year or so. She is an amazing woman (like her or not) and she loves animals. It was a fun project that I even got into helping her with.

Thanks everyone. All the names are wonderful people. I decided to choose Clara Barton due to how much I really love the Red Cross. That charity helps so many people out. I have so much respect, and I always wondered who started the Red Cross.

He is amazing, but the teacher said she has heard a billion speeches on him and would like for us to pick someone else.

Oh crap, I thought it had to be a woman!
In that case...
Abraham Lincoln
George Washington
Norman Schwarzkopf
Winston Churchill
Abraham Lincoln is very interesting and there is a TON of information about him out there.
