Pictures of Maggie's mouth, after getting her stitches...

I thought I would post some pictures of Maggies mouth, from after she got home from the vet after being kicked in the head by our horse. She tore her lip off of her teeth, and they drilled holes in her jaw to anchor it back on, then stitched it...

Sorry they arent the best, i didnt want to hurt her when taking the pictures

Get well soon Maggie. Ouch that does look painful, i hope she heals up real quickly. I will keep Maggie in my thoughts.

That looks painful, but it looks like all will heal ok. Remember, a kick from a horse could have been much worse!! Glad she's all fixed up and here's to a full recovery!

I have to say she looks much better than I'd imagined. I was dreading opening this thread, but it looks like your vet did a awesome job with her!
I'm so glad she's ok and and is healing nicely!

I agree with Anna. I was so worried that it'd be gruesome to look at, but your vet did a great job!

Look at those pearly whites! The stitches look like she has floss stuck between her teeth. :D

I am very happy with our vet, he did an awsome job. Poor Maggie doent get to play with her toys for about 2 weeks, and its her first birthday next week :(, we will have to find presents that she can have. I havent figured anything out yet though.
