Tomorrow I have an appointment with the podiatrist because of my diabetes. I'm a little nervous about what the doctor would say. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

good luck . Have you had any problems with your feet? I have a whole massage routine every night to keep mine in shape.

podiatrists don't have pedicure staff in their offices? it'd be the perfect place for a "go along with the exam for only $25 more..." i'd pay for my mom to have that done. and good luck david;) :p

Well, when I had an appointment with my regular doctor, she took a look at my feet and suggested that I see a podiatrist. I guess she thought there was something the podiiarist should see.

David I don't know if you know this but becouse of the circulation problems in diabetics they like to keep a base line to compaire . You may have nothing wrong but she is just getting that base done well in advance.

Good luck, David. I am a diabetic too (I think you know that) and my diabetes educator checks my feet too. (I hate it...lol) So far, I haven't had to go to a podiatrist, but don't worry ... they are probably just being very cautious!;)
