I just heard tonight that we lost another canine member of our therapy dog group. Trooper was a sweet boxer, we originally met when the girls particpated in a doggy sqaure dance at a basketball game. He loved to antagonize Sadie, by trying to nip her on the butt.

Tropper was a purebred boxer, and only 3 years old. He died from complications due to an enlarged heart.

RIP dear Trooper :(

So sad :(

Rest In Peace, Topper!
And THANKS for all your Therapy Visits.

There was a small Boxer Mix that visited Mom in the Health Center.
He'd stand beside her chair and rest his front paws on the
chair arms; and just *vibrate* while being petted!

If his patient stopped *petting* - he'd either give a lil *KISS*
or reach out with a paw and *TAP* their arm.

I believe there is a special place in heaven for those animals who work in therapy, angels on earth, when they get their wings. Play joyously at the bridge, dearest Trooper.

Poor Trooper, RIP. Sounds like he had a wonderful three years bringing joy to many people.
Trooper - look for my Rosie at the RB - she's only 3, too!
