Our animal control is sooo freaking stupid!
My little sister told me today that there was a picture contest where you drew a picture and you could either win a snake, iguana, or turtle from the pound!These kids are 7-8 year old kids in the 2nd grade! There wasn't even a permission slip for the parents to sign to let them know that the kids were entering the contest! They would just come out of school one day with a snake or something and say look what I got. My sis even said you could win a dog!:mad: grrr, I live in a town where half these people don't know how to take care of animals and yet the pound is holding contests to give away pets!? Anyways were not sure if the pound is actually going to go through with it, if they do though then we're going to have a field day with newspaper about it. We can also talk to the Humane Society and see if they can do anything about it!
