I am proud! I reported poss cruelty..

I just called the SPCA cruelty line to report a dog I saw in the Pets Unlimited store in town,,, theres a Bassett hound puppy they have for sale that is way too thin,,,, the guy working the floor said he was fine,,, and that they have slim bodies to start with,,, (Which is bullcrap!!!!) and I told him i dont think so,,, Bassetts are a thick bodied dog esp when they are only 4 months old,, like hey told me he was... I said no puppy should be showing his ribcage and hip bones like that... esp at 4 months old,, they are supposed to have fat puppy bellies at that age!!! then when we paid for our dog food,,,, I mentioned my concern to the girl at the check out and she said he was fine,, he was healthy,, sees thier vet all the time and hes just crazy..... What the hell is that supposed to mean?????????? anyways,,, I asked the lady at the cruelty line to let me know what happened to him and all,, they will go and investigate...... nuts!!!!! And I know the store will know exactly who called,,, I made it pretty clear I wasnt happy..... and several customers heard me too.....

I hate the way all pet stores keep puppies. It makes me sick. I cannot shop at pet stores that sell puppies/kittens, I always feel like yelling at them...

Good job! :D We have to speak up for the animals! I've reported a few people over the years for various reasons and got results. I couldn't let the dogs down. Let us know what happens!
