Gary's computer is on the truck and en route for delivery!!!

possible! I cannot express how deeply touched I am that you
all jumped right in and supported this project right from the start! Hopefully very soon, Gary will be posting and giving us the word that he is a brand new computer owner!!!! :D

I just spoke with Gary on the phone..... his computer came this afternoon, and he already has it all hooked up himself!:eek: :D
I am trying to help him get online with a low-cost ISP service ... he's trying some things a few minutes and will be calling me back soon! This is sooooooo exciting! Hopefully in the next day or so, he will be ONLINE from HOME!!!!:D

To those who are just now hearing of our project: It was virtually impossible to contact every single PT member with this. If anyone would still like to become involved, that would be wonderful! I will still be helping Gary with his computer set-up through the Best Buy Geek Squad, and helping him with an ISP service! Also, there are long distance phone calls to cover!:eek: ;)

Since Gary has proven to be such a do-it-yourself kind of guy himself, we decided that he didn't need the Geek Squad afterall. We both felt that the money that would have been spent for their service would best be utilized by applying it to his internet services. The remaining monies have been forwarded to Gary, no more donations are needed at this time. Again a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all involved!

Got new computer.... COULDN'T WAIT for someone else to come do it so I opened the boxes and went at it.. Easy as pie!!
