I have issues with panic attacks and usually have one around this time every night. I wake up for about an hour and come on PT helping to calm me down--stress about work, graduating, moving, etc...well Callie was good company this morning and I got some pics of her.

"Meowmie, I'm t-i-r-e-d..go back to sleep." Again, notice how we're in the office and it's "cat free" ;)

Whisper joined us. ;) Attempting to take a picture without any lights on in the house was interesting, but here's what I got.

I'm the same way Callie. Almost ever night you can find me logging on to Pet Talk at 4am...but I don't have panic attacks. I just can't sleep sometimes (age..you know). LOL

So nice that your furry friends join you. As for Max and Speckles, they stay in bed and can't be bothered to follow Meowmie into the 'puter room. It's too snuggly in bed for them.

Very cute pics!

BTW, I don't mean to be nosy, but do you take anything for your panic attacks?

I have anxiety/panic attacks and I started taking a natural supplement called Valerian. You can get it at GNC. Anyway, it basically calms you down . . . helps you sleep . . . just generally calms your nerves. I don't take it every night . . . about once a week will keep me from having attacks. You might want to look into it . . .

How sweet Callie is, staying with you at night. Dont you just LOVE when they care so much? All the money we spend is such a small price to pay, isnt it?

I used to take medicine but was a moron and got off it. I couldn't really afford the $230/month for both prescriptions but have been doing much better in general. I just have anxiety attacks at night

So sorry to hear of your anxiety attacks but thank goodness for your beautiful kitties to keep you company! It probably wouldn't hurt to try the herbal route as it should be much less expensive. If you are taking other prescription meds (such as for high blood pressure, etc.) you should always check with dr for possible interaction with herbals though.
