We have done the dinner thread before, and I was just sitting here eating breakfast, and wondered what people all over the world have for breakfast :) I know some skip it altogether.

I am back on the South Beach diet, so i am having 2 scrambled eggs with cheese...and water, and some coffee...

Hubby needs to reduce his cholesterol so we have had nothing but oatmeal each morning for about a month here. This morning was maple & brown sugar. Lots of things you can do with oatmeal! Yesterday was raisins and a few pecans:)

Some bagels with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, some sour cream, and CHEESE! You gotta love that combination! I always mix things up, I love cooking and I do an awesome job doing it. :p

Toasted English Muffin with peanut butter. Sticks to your ribs on these chilly mornings.

Like most days, I'll probably forego breakfast and delve on to lunch.

Coffee is a bean, so that qualifies it as a vegetable.

It's the fruit of the coffee tree, #2.

A little milk, Dairy. NUMBER THREE!

#4??? Have a donut and you have the bread/cereal group covered.

Anything! If I want, I can have even soup :) . What I don't have is the same thing everyday, rarely the second day. And the second thing I don't have is cereals. I love grits, though. Rice with milk would be my favorite.

Sometimes I drink coffee, but usualy black tea.

Cereal! HAS to be cereal in the morning, or I won't eat it. Cereal is my favourite food -- I have 5-6 bowls a day. :)

I alway's had it drummed into me that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I really believe it is, I mean it gets the body moving and tanked up for the day.

I have the same breakfast nearly every morning, a bowl of sanitarium Kornflakes with fruit salad on top and low fat milk, and I enjoy every bit of it.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day...or brunch if that's an option. ;)

I usually eat cereal (Special-K, Kashi, Product 19, etc.) and some sort of fruit with water. Or, I'll eat yogurt and fruit with juice or water.

If I eat out for breakfast, I love eggs benadict...yummy!! :)

I would rather go out for breakfast than any other meal, as it is my favourite meal of the day too, not that I do that very often, but I love those buffet breakfast's. I love how you Americans have pancakes for breakfast, yummy.

It is mostly considered a dessert in NZ.

Me too, yogurt everyday. I eat the regular Yoplait, though, not the custard kind.

My staff have a large coffee and a ham & cheese croissant ready when I walk in the door at work. :D

I feed my kids a chicken wing one morning and they have a weet-bix the next.

Actually:confused: My partner feeds the dogs in the morning I just let them outside. :D

When you read an American Menu "Down Under", the breakfast items are at the bottom.

During the week I usually eat cereal, but sometimes if I cook eggs for my grandson, I will fix some for myself. On the weekends my husband cooks the big breakfast, eggs, bacon, grits and biscuits, (out of the can of course).

Today's breakfast was a treat, Hubby and I went to our restaurant Valentines for a buffet breakfast, delicious, first time we have had brekky there, lots of choices and very nice too, consquently we did not need any lunch, and afterwards we went grocery shopping, we did not even feel like looking at food, the bill was a little lower, they say never do the grocery shopping on an empty tummy.

It was our early valentines day treat, not that hubby usually remembers and I usually get upset with him every year, but this time we just did something we both enjoyed., oh and I did get pancakes too, the first one was awful, had been sitting there too long, but the others were devine.

The one thing I can never eat or like is porridge or oatmeal for breakfast, I hate it with a passion, and I am scottish too, anything with oatmeal in it I dislike really.
