Here's a pic of my newest hole in my head (anti-helix!) I just got it done, so I apologize for the blood.

And a pic of my tragus piercing (six weeks old)

My anti-helix was more painful than the tragus, but I medicated before the tragus, so who knows? It wasn't anything more than a beesting this time, last time it was like a light pinch.

EEEEEEEPP, I'd still rather get my tongue pierced again than have those piercings done, but they look really good on you:) Ibuprofen and ice packs seem like just what the doctor ordered, yes?:)

Can you sleep comfortably on the tragus piercing now? I remember having the upper cartilage on my ear pierced and not being able to sleep on it for MONTHS!

I've been able to sleep on my tragus piercing for about three weeks. I'm still washing it with Provon when I shower, to make sure it keeps on healing. The piercer couldn't believe how good it looked!

I also got pierced with surgical grade steel, whereas lots of people who do the "normal" cartilage piercing go to a piercer and get it done with a gun (and low grade metals.) It's more traumatic to the site, and more bruising occurs.

When I got my second holes back done they wouldn't heal (done in a beauty shop with a gun.) I was actually allergic to the earrings I was pierced with and eventually just let them close up.

You wild woman, you!!! Ouch! It looks like it hurt. When I had my cartlidge done, it hurt for about 6 weeks. Now I don't even notice it, except when I wear a stud in it.
