Duke's Pet Psychic Reading

Ramanth gave me the info of the pet psychic she went to see. I contacted her and emailed some pics of Duke. The first time I talked to her I was in Wal Mart and I just about balled because she knew all about him. She is amazing! I didn't tell her anything about Duke. I asked if he remembered his past and she told me about a big, burly guy that wasn't very nice to him(my ex). He showed her a fluffy white cat(that was my Persian I had before Doogie) He was champagne and white. It was really amazing to talk to her on the phone. She knew so much about him. He told her he likes the beach but sometimes it's just too hot. He also gets tired walking too much. Also asked her about Nala and Kiara. She said he doesn't hate them. She compared the situation to an old man being in a room full of chatty women. He just wants to be left alone. Also, he can't trust 100% so therefore, he isn't feeling loved purely, either. Here's her notes. It was so good to have this done. I feel like it's helped us both a lot. The number one thing he said to her that he just wanted to be hugged and loved. I wish I had her gift so I could talk to him like that.

Wow, that's amazing. It sounds like it was a good idea for both of you to do that. I'm skeptical sometimes of readings like that, but, it's hard not to believe when you hear stories like yours!

She got these reading through E-mails? Phone? or inside Wal-mart? At first when you said you first talked to her at Wal-mart, I'm picturing you, duke and her in Wal-mart talking.

But then after seeing first, second and third reading, I'm wondering where or how the readings where done. Curiosity?? :)

I was supposed to go with Kimmy to the reading, but couldn't. Now I'm sorry I missed it! I want so much to have a reading with a few of my cats including LilEli, RB Casey (RB, 2002) and Marina Mar (RB, 2000).

I might even bring a picture of Doogie to see what she says. Can't hurt!!

She called me while I was at Wal Mart. It's very reasonable. $30 per pet. All you have to do is email her some pics. I'm so glad I did it. I think it's going to help us both.

That's so cool. I wish there was some way she cold tell him to befriend my girls. I don't think they've ever been too annoying to him. Kiara mostly tries to avoid him.

That's amazing Val! Did she just get all this from looking at his pictures, somehow communicate with him over distance? I've always felt like Kari, a bit skeptical, but I'm getting more and more curious as I see people here giving it a try and being convinced. I'd especially like to see what she would say about Tommy, since he is so timid of things and had a dark past. :(

I've been talking about taking mine to a pet psychic near me. It's $50 per half hour, I would take my pups to her place.
I need to do it!!
I think I know why I haven't... I'm afraid to hear what Buddy has to say. It would break my heart if he told me he will never like or trust Rick, I would feel like all I'm doing is putting him through hell his entire life. :(
But it's something I have to find out!

Stacwase, ex was extremely mean to him. I don't know exactly what he did to him when he got home in the morning but I had to listen to Duke scream. It's something I'll never forget. I told Nancy(pet psychic) that maybe Duke is picking up on my guilt of that situation. I've tried to make it up to him every day of my life. That could be why he feels he needs love so much, also. She really was amazing.
Kay, I hate it that he doesn't enjoy being with the girls also but remember, it's not what we think, it's what he's feeling. I can keep him put up some when I'm there. We can take turns like we've been doing. Too bad they can't all just be one happy family, though. Would be so cool.

Since I have been on pettalk I have been so impressed with your love for Duke...I have always felt like he is the most loved dog in the world. Whatever happened before wasn't your fault and I know how much you love him so of course he does.

I took casey to a pet psychic that was at petsmart one day, it was free and I guess you get what you pay for..I was hoping for some insight like you got, I just know casey was abused.

I just got my reading on Smokey yesterday. Nancy called me
to give it & then ask if I had any other questions. She is pretty
amazing & very accurate with both Smokey & Maggie. She gave
me info on Maggie also.

notes from the reading...
-he is always fearful because he always thinks he is leaving...always worried about what is going to happen
-showed me coming from a place that was cold,gray, scary and noisey
-showed being dragged on a leash
-no kids around
-happy where he is but not fully comfortable...not sure what will happen to him...worried he is going to have to leave
-feels he is not liked as much as the other pets...
-likes the other dog a lot...really likes the other dog
(other dog has a lot of spirt, very fun, lots of life, very confident)
-smokey is not particulary a happy dog
-seems to always have some doubt in the back of his mind
-low self esteem...low confidence
-does not feel like he is staying...has there been some talk of him leaving?
-he feels like he is not always welcome....
***i discussed with him that he is very much loved and that he is not going anywhere. that he is in the home he will always be in. i told him that his job is to keep the car nice and to walk the borders in the backyard since he seems to like doing that so much.***

That's a lot to get from a picture.:) She also gave me some info
on flower essences to add to his water. Should have a calming
effect on Smokey.

I am amazed how much she seemed to express the same feelings you have had about SMokey being insecure. Did you give her any info, or just send the pictures?

That's what is so amazing, I didn't tell her anything before
she called to read me the results. She then emailed what she
had gotten from the picture. She wanted to know if I had any
other questions or concerns I wanted to ask about. The only
thing she asked me is what things Smokey liked doing the best.
She said Smokey needed to feel he had a job to do(something
he already enjoyed) and when he did it well, it would help boost
his confidence & make him feel more loved. Smokey really loves
to ride with me in the car(in the front passenger seat) and he
likes to walk the yard's fence line. Not as a guard dog, but as
just something that makes him feel more secure somehow.:)

She also talked awhile about Maggie, and how much of a good
influence she thinks Magge has on Smokey. She also said that
Maggie will be a real handful as she grows b/c she has so much
energy. :D She's already a handful.:D I'm starting classes with
her this week.
All in all, I think she's helped me understand where Smokey is coming from & that helps in my understanding his problems.
