Nebo drawing + others

While organizing my scrapbook stuff I found some clayboard that I forgot that I bought...I think I bought it several years ago. :o I decided it would be fun to mess with it so I did this little pic of Nebo tonight (it's on like a 5x7 piece, very small irl). I'm not sure if it looks like him or not, what do you think?

At first I couldn't find my clayboard tools so I had to look through a bunch of old artwork...and I found some stuff that I don't think I ever scanned...so here's some of it if you'd like to look, there's more but I didn't feel like scanning it all...

Also high school one (wolf), this one is quite large. Colored pencil...it looks kinda dark/blurry because it's a digital photograph it was too big to scan. I find it amusing to do weird colors

Those are so awesome! I love them all haha. The first one looks like Nebo a lot! Is clayboard that stuff where you scrape off the black? I've always wanted one of those things.

The first one is on clayboard. It's a lot like scratchboard it's just a thicker actual *board* that you do it on vs. the paper-type material that scratchboard is. It's more expensive but I like it better.

And yes MariaM clayboard/scratchboard is the stuff that you scrape off the ink.

Oh Amy, what a wonderful talent you have! I really envy you. They are all awesome and yes, I think you have really captured Nebo in that first one.

I don't know anything about clayboard and scratchboard, all I know is you do wonderful work. I will always treasure my drawing of Katie that Anna had you do for me. I look at it every day and smile. I absolutely love it. ONe day I plan on having you do one of Tori for me and then I also want one of them together.

You have a very special gift, Amy. Don't ever stop using it!

I always get confused on scratchboards, because where you scratch away turns light. I end up scratching the wrong part. :p
