If I were left alone,
On the dirty streets at night,
I'd be afraid.

If I chewed up a slipper,
That belonged to my owner,
I'd be afraid.

If I wasn't treated properly,
And was thin and scraggly, too,
I'd be afraid.
Wouldn't you?
If I was tormented all day long,
And sick and sad at night,
I'd be afraid.
