Does anyone else like it? I just got done with it:) Did anyone else cry at the End? Old Dan reminds me of Duke, a lot. :( He would have done everything Old Dan did for Billy.:rolleyes:

I've read it a couple times when I was younger. Always cried a river at the end. Amazingly well written book, and so incredibly touching.

I haven't read the book, but I purchased the movie! :) So heart-breaking, those dogs did amazing things!:(

The first time I read the book was almost 5 years ago, in the 5th grade! I cry everytime I read it and the original movie is very sad too!

Oh gosh, the book's A LOT better than the movie, let me tell ya!;) I've read the book a couple times (and seen the movie) and I LOOOVE it!! Even though it's sad, it's one of my favorites!:)
