It seems like only yesterday she came dashing into our arms. HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY MUFFIN!!
Muffin was a rescue off the harsh streets of Santa Monica. She was rescued by a very kind woman, Barbara. Muffin was filled with ticks and fleas, and Barbara took care of her and spayed her. Barbara took Muffin to all the traveling adoptions, but because Muffin was so calm, no one wanted her because they thought she was sick. At that time, we were looking for a new dog and companion for Mackenzie after recovering from the loss of our Giant Shcnauzer, Alex. Barbara had been calling Muffin "Lolly" at the time, and we thought that name had never really clicked. We finally decided on Muffin. I would like to give some credit to Barbara, because without her we wouldn't have this wonderful little dog with us.
