Who else married young? I got married less then a month after I turned 18. Still married and very happy. :-) I was curious about other people and when they got married.

Not me. I didn't marry until I was 30. Although there were some lonely years involved, waiting for my husband to come along was worth it in the end.

Paul and I married the day after his 22nd birthday - 23 days after my 22nd birthday. We didn't consider ourselves young, but lots of others did. Still together, still happy many years later!

First time around I was 24, second time around 34, both have minuses and pluses, it is always hard work, and one just has to give and take heaps. lol:)

I married at the age of 20, after my father said, "No daughter of mine is going to live in sin!!" I was married for 4 years and have a daughter, Amy Elizabeth, who is soon to be 29.

The only thing I regret is not waiting till I was at least 30 to marry. I went from living at home to getting married and having a kid, never experiencing life on my own.

The only good thing that came out of the whole union was my daughter Amy. ;)

What do you consider young?

I got married at 22 . . . hubby was 23 . . . that was only 2 years ago though :)

I don't think we were too young. We waited to graduate from college so we wouldn't struggle so much. It was still a struggle, but I think we were pretty mature about it.

I got married at 24 (about 2 months before I turned 25). Ralph had just turned 26.

I don't really consider that young since my sister was just a couple weeks after her 19th birthday (and they have been married almost 4 years) and parents were married one week after my dad turned 21 (mom was 20, they will celbrate their 33 anniversary in March). My gransparents (moms parents) married when my grandma was 19 and grandpa was 21...and they have been married over 65 years

Some of you have wonderful success stories! Congratulations!!! :)

My first marriage occured when I was 22 and my husband was 22. I know now that it was too young for us. :( But we did get our sweet daughter, thank goodness!

I divorced at 30 years old, and didn't find the right man until I was almost 40. I've got him now, though!!!! :)

We both just turned 23 when we got married. This summer, that will be 26 years ago :) . I think that 23 was a good age for us. We both had a good job, loved each other, so.... ;)

Ps. We had a very short engagement: only 10 months:) Nooooo, I was NOT preggies!!!

I met Rob when i was 17, he was 18. (He taught me how to drive :)) We dated for 4 years. Got engaged and then got married. When we married i had just turned 21...April it i will be 7 years!!! :):D Sure, we have occasional struggles, arguments...but i think anyone does. We are certainly more mature when dealing with "issues" we might have now, then we were 7 years ago....i don't think it matters how young you are when you get married, but that is just me...i wouldn't change anything. We have God as the center of our marriage...so we can get through anything.

My niece married at 19, her hubby was only 20, they have just celebrated 2 years of marriage yesterday, they seem very happy, but of course it is early days yet, they met when she was 14, he 15, dated a while, split up and got back together, he has lived in the same house since then at my sister's house, not something I would have done personally, but hey it seems all good so far, my only concern is they have not really got many friendships outside the marriage or recreation, they spend most of their time together, all the time, but i guess if it works for them ,then who am I to judge, but neither have been out seperatley living in houses with other people, although they soon shift into their own home, and need to rent out two rooms to help pay the mortgage, so that will be a new experience for them both.

I hope both my children marry not so young, I know my son will not he is 23 now and no sign of that being even close, but my daughter , well that will remain to been seen, I hope she is at least 25 or so.
