Does ANYONE know how to teach a parakeet to talk?I just got a my first parakeet a day ago!

Hi Annie,
First of all if you have 2, it is very unlikely they will talk. They have each other, so they are less likely to want to communicate with you. With just one, you should often repeat the same word--eventually he/she will pick up on it. Only spend about 5-10 minutes on a word, or the parakeet will quickly become bored.
