Ok, I did the picture of Katrina's back. For some reason, I decided to do color. I hardly ever do color... what do you think? Should I do it in pencil as a black and white instead? Another photo? I'm not sure I like it to much.
Here's the photo:

And the rendering:

For some reason, the carpet looks really brown, its really not this brown in person.

 I *LOVE* the color!! If it is as it appears here - it is very subtle and reminds me of a sepia picture. Breathtaking Kim!!!

Are you fooling us? is that a drawing or a computer rendering of what the drawing *will* look like?  :p

Thanks Debbie... that is the drawing! Give me some time, I'll update my website and upload a larger picture of it onto the site, and you can see the individual pencil lines. God I love my new camera - it takes such great detail pictures!!!

I now have the problem of what to frame it in! I have no idea what to make it look like! I want it to have the broadest appeal.

I am no *arteeste* but this is what I see....an inside mat (narrow) of something in the darkest shade, another mat (much wider) of one of the lighter neutral shades...and all framed in a wood that is also very neutral - I would lean towards a narrowish frame or a white/ivory metallic.:p

That will be $1

Gorgeous Kim!! Absolutely GORGEOUS!!!! I love the color! I love everything about it!!!
I think Debbie's framing idea sounds good. I think because of the shades in the picture you should go with wood tones. That would work in most anyone's home too.
BEAUTIFUL!!!

I almost missed this! I think it came out fantastic...I love the different hues of neutral colors! I think it would go in anybody's home, and being just Katrina's back, she could be anyone's cat as well. Beautiful work as usual. :D ;) :)
