I thought this would be a neat idea. So many people are always posting such beautiful nature and scenery pics, I thought it would be neat if people picked one or two of their favorites and posted them so we could see them again or for the first time.

Beautiful pics Kay! Up where I live, those beach photos look as inviting as my snow photos must look to you! I really like water in pictures, you have some beautiful ones there.

I never really go out when it's wintery so all my snow pics are of the back yard. I should head out to Quarry sometime and get some pics after a fresh snow, I bet I could get some beautiful ones! I do like this one though from our first snow storm of the year:

That reminds me of here! Except all of our snow is melted now lol. Melted a couple of months early this year. The climate has gone wacky.

Everyone's pictures are great.

My favorite scenic place will always be one of these two places.
Stick me near a water fall or in shaded woods and I'm happy happy. I miss those yearly trip to the house in N.C., just to see this kind of stuff. Something Florida will never have.

I think there is beauty to be found in any nature pic, even if it's not as exotic as you might like! For example, I think even something simple like moss growing on a park bench can be gorgeous! Which brings to mind another favorite photo of mine that I had forgotten about! I called this one "Beauty in Simplicity"

I have seen some really pretty stuff here! I apologise because I didn't realise I had this many favorites. There's still one I can't find. It's of our old courthouse. Was taken on a clear blue day. The dome is silver and it's shining in the sun. I've hunted for about 30 minutes and can't find it. I made a favorites folder and if I ever find it, I'll put it in there.
This tree is on a busy interstate. There is a group of three of them. The last time I was on the way to Kay's, I just decided I was going to stop and get them because it was driving me crazy to pass them by and not take some pics. They look so cool

BEAUTIFUL pictures everyone! I'm really enjoying this thread! There is NOTHING I love more than nature. Put me in a forest near a gushing river and waterfall, and I'll be the happiest person in the world. Truely, mountains, beaches, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, clouds, forests, sunsets, etc. REALLY make my day.
